Miss Anafel F. Soriano has more than 25 years experience in psychogeriatric care.

Dear reader,
Allow me to introduce myself as the individual behind Dementia-Consult and my goals with this initiative.

I am originally from the Philippines and have lived in the Netherlands for 32 years. I studied healthcare there and have 25 years of experience, mainly with elderly people (geriatrics). I have successfully managed and completed many studies on specific diseases, including “major neurocognitive disorder” and earned a master’s degree in Neuro Linguistic Programming. Currently, I work in the Psychogeriatric department, where there are many cases of severe complex dementia behavior.

With my Filipino background, I feel grateful for the opportunity to share my knowledge and skills in the Philippines. I am excited about contributing and bringing meaning to the lives of those affected. I hope to demonstrate my core values, strong skills, ethics, and excellence in personalizing my approach to individuals with misunderstood behavior.
