Anafel and Niek have worked hard in recent years on their mission: using Anafel’s knowledge and experience in dementia care for the Philippines. With research, networking, and a complete website, the foundation has been laid. In the meantime, their birthday parties were postponed several times, but they are now making up for it with the big ‘OUR TURN’-party.
Because the number of people with dementia in the Philippines is growing rapidly, but decision-making is slow and funding is difficult, we have, in addition to Dementia-Consult, established the Dementia Care Support Philippines Foundation. This way, we can realize our projects independently regardless of political developments.
So a double celebration: the launch of our foundation and the long-postponed birthday party of Anafel and Niek.
Join us on September 26, 2025, from 7:00 PM to raise a glass, hear our stories, enjoy the delicious tapas-style food, dance to the best music, and together we build a better future for people with dementia in the Philippines. The party will take place at the social-cultural Moluccan community center “De Waringin” of Stichting Dewan Maluku, Didamseweg 42a in Zevenaar (Google Maps).
